Guardianship

Spokane, Washington

Family Law ~ Guardianship

A guardianship is essentially a personal representative to handle the personal and financial affairs of an incapacitated person or minor. Generally, a complete guardian assumes responsibility in two arenas: control of an individual's estate and person. These responsibilities, however, may also be divided between two individuals.

Guardians are generally in place to make health care and financial decisions for incapacitated persons and minors. Such an appointment may continue until death, change in guardianship or the minor reaches age of majority.

Knowledgeable legal representation and counsel will benefit you.
